Resignation is when an employee chooses to leave Clarity voluntarily and informs Operations or your manager that you will stop working for our company. While employees are not obligated to give us advance notice before resigning, we ask that you give at least two weeks’ notice to make sure our workplace continues to run smoothly as we transition your workload off. If you hold a highly specialized or executive position, we ask that you give us at least a month’s notice, when possible.
We accept verbal resignations, but we prefer that you submit a written and signed notice of resignation for our records. We will reply with an acceptance of resignation letter within two business days. Operations will inform your manager that you are resigning if you haven’t already done so.
Violation of policies and rules of Clarity may warrant disciplinary action. Clarity may, in its sole discretion, utilize whatever form of discipline is appropriate under the circumstances including termination of employment.
However, since employment is “at-will”, we may terminate an employee without cause. This may include reducing redundancies or layoffs that might be necessary. In these situations, we will follow applicable laws regarding notice and payouts.
