What are and can be considered customization hours?
Customization hours are any hours used on the project that are non-standard or could have been avoided by the client. These hours may include, but are not limited to, discovery meetings, IT meetings, environment/access setup and support, non-standard integration syncs, high complexity workflows, mapping changes, and system issues stemming from the client's systems (servers, ERP, CRM, eComm, etc.)

In the event customizations such as the above occur, time is logged to a customization line item within Easy Projects (EP) with a relevant title such as:
All non-Customization hours are listed in EP under the line items that indicate they are internal. For example:
Note: Using the "- Customization" is not necessary for the processing of packaged Project Status Reports (PSRs), however, it can be useful to keep EP organized and readable. Once a project is live, the default customization hours provided at the start of the project are zeroed out and only hours remaining from change requests or support invoices can be used by a client after launch. Once a project is live, new line items can be generated indicating they are for support requests. For example:
